Preview of the Ministry of Labor in Paraguay Case Study

Ministry of Labor in Paraguay trains 276 experts in 31 months with Intelitek

The Ministry of Labor in Paraguay, through its agencies SNPP and SINAFOCAL, faced a significant challenge in modernizing its vocational education system. The existing knowledge-transfer teaching methodologies were failing to equip graduates with the creative thinking and problem-solving skills required by the evolving labor market and Industry 4.0. To close this widening skills gap and build a competitive future workforce, they enlisted the help of Intelitek to implement a new educational program.

Intelitek developed and implemented the custom PIMA program, which was based on the Feuerstein Institute's methodologies, DACOTA, and IJPT. The solution involved a comprehensive Training Needs Analysis, the evaluation and selection of instructors based on potential, and a 31-month training program focusing on cognitive development and modern pedagogical skills. The results were transformative: 276 educators were certified as experts, a new distance learning system was created, and a sustainable model for identifying and training future educational leaders was established. This Intelitek solution exponentially improved teaching quality, ensuring Paraguay's human capital is prepared for the careers of tomorrow.
