Cleveland Community College prepares 20-student manufacturing classes with Intelitek

Cleveland Community College faced a challenge common to its vibrant North Carolina region: a lack of manufacturing training programs to supply local, growing industries with prospective employees who had basic technical skills. To address this, the college partnered with vendor Intelitek to implement a solution using their JobMaster PLC courseware and training labs.

Intelitek's solution provided a modular, hands-on platform for teaching programmable logic controllers and industrial maintenance. This equipped students with a solid base of knowledge for manufacturing careers. The results were highly successful, with the initial cohort of four students all receiving job offers from their internship companies before they even graduated, achieving a 100% success rate for placing graduates into the workforce.
