BA Blacktop, a British Columbia contractor specializing in roads, highways and heavy civil work, and Rapid-Span, a bridge products manufacturer, faced fragmented quality and safety processes. BA Blacktop needed a modern, centralized system to unify Quality and Safety programs and give management real-time visibility, while Rapid-Span struggled with paper-based nonconformance reporting that was time-consuming, error-prone and made ISO 9001 compliance and audit reporting difficult.
Intelex delivered a suite of applications—including its Quality Nonconformances module—rolled out with focused training and data migration. The centralized system replaced paper, provided real-time dashboards and reports, standardized NCR workflows, and automated notifications. As a result, reporting time fell dramatically (NCR summaries from ~10 hours to 2), compliance and audit readiness improved, and accountability, tracking and executive visibility increased.
