Metso, a global minerals company with employees working around the clock in more than 30 countries, needed to standardize health and safety practices across all locations, monitor issues in real time, measure performance site-to-site, and focus improvement efforts where they were needed most. The challenge was to give the Global Health & Safety team remote, timely visibility and consistent processes for reporting and documentation.

Metso implemented Intelex’s Safety Management System, standardizing incident reporting, configuring location-specific forms, building a global performance dashboard, and creating a worldwide safety document library. As a result, supervisors can accurately report incidents, the global team can monitor safety practices across locations, policies are instantly available via document control, and Metso plans to expand additional Intelex modules company-wide.
