A Intelex Case Study
Fortive, a diversified Fortune 500 company with ~17,000 employees across 175 locations, set ambitious sustainability goals—including an early achievement of a 50% GHG emissions‑intensity reduction by 2021 and a new target to cut absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions 50% by 2029. The company faced a data challenge: sustainability reporting is highly data‑intensive, and Fortive had been relying on disparate spreadsheets that limited data quality, timeliness, auditability and the ability to communicate insights to diverse stakeholders.
Fortive implemented Intelex’s Corporate Reporting application (and Datamaran for dynamic materiality), trained about 100 users, and migrated its EHS&S Risk Score into the platform to create a single source of truth. The change delivered faster, higher‑quality data collection and analysis, greater visibility and agility, improved materiality insights and integrated risk assessments—enabling more actionable ESG reporting and informed strategic decisions.
