De Beers Canada Replaces Paper-Based Processes with Intelex, Streamlines EHS and Quality Management

De Beers Canada needed a robust, flexible management system to maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 17025 certifications and to track compliance with OHSAS 18001. The company wanted to replace paper-based processes with an electronic solution that would streamline information flow, reduce inefficiencies and support the diverse needs of users across the organization.

De Beers implemented Intelex’s Integrated Management System with customized modules for safety incident reporting, audits, nonconformances, corrective/preventative actions, training, document control and management review, now managing about 2,000 documents. The rollout consolidated processes and improved internal communication, supported continued certification and OHSAS conformance, and was backed by responsive client services to meet user-specific needs.
