How Glanbia Standardized Global EHSQ with Intelex

Glanbia, an Ireland-based nutrition company with about 6,000 employees and global operations across North America, Europe and China, faced growing operational complexity from new plants and acquisitions. Different sites and business units relied on local, often MS Excel–based processes, making it difficult and time‑consuming to standardise metrics, collect reliable EHS/EHSQ data and produce consolidated reporting.

Glanbia implemented Intelex—initially for Glanbia Performance Nutrition in the US and then across its operations—to standardise data capture and workflows using modules such as Incident Management, Inspections, Sustainability Performance Indicators, Inspection Management, Nonconformances and Audit Management. The cloud-based platform improved data integrity and near‑real‑time incident visibility, simplified OSHA reporting, enabled leadership scorecards for TRIR/LTIR/severity, increased safety communication and stakeholder visibility, and supports ongoing integration of acquisitions and expansion into Quality and Food Safety.
