St. Luke’s and Intelerad Partner to Move Images Better, Faster

St. Luke's University Health Network, a large non-profit health system serving Pennsylvania and New Jersey, faced costly delays and patient frustration from delivering medical images on CDs and DVDs—especially slow mammography burns—and needed an enterprise-ready, secure way to share imaging and consult with outside physicians. They selected Intelerad and its cloud imaging solution InteleShare to address these challenges.

Intelerad implemented InteleShare to enable patient and staff uploads, secure web-link sharing, and a consulting physician workflow; as a result, image upload and sharing times dropped from hours to about three minutes, CDs/DVDs were largely phased out, and referring physicians can safely view studies via expiring viewer links. The Intelerad solution simplified delivery, reduced staff time spent burning media, and improved collaboration across the network.
