Ensuring Consistent Imaging Service Delivery Across a Geographically-Dispersed Network of Subspecialists

Medical Imaging Partnership (MIP) is a rapidly growing UK imaging services provider serving nearly 2.5 million people across London, Sussex, Kent and northwest England; its 80 radiologists read roughly 120,000 studies a year for 17 clients from 17 sites and multiple mobile scanners. Faced with the challenge of delivering consistent, high‑quality reporting across a highly distributed workforce and diverse acquisition sources, MIP sought a stable, flexible system that would support remote/home reporting and a centralised archive — and selected Intelerad’s IntelePACS and associated tools.

Intelerad implemented a web‑based platform (IntelePACS) with InteleViewer for diagnostic reading and integrated speech recognition, plus InteleConnect for zero‑footprint referrer access and collaboration; MIP also rolled out Intelerad modules (Multi‑Method Reporting, Peer Review, Analytics) and third‑party integrations. The solution enabled remote subspecialist reporting, centralised worklists for mobile scanners, faster turnaround and ready access to priors and reports, boosted clinician/referrer satisfaction, and became a competitive differentiator for MIP — supporting 80 radiologists, ~120,000 studies/year and improved operational efficiency with strong Intelerad support.
