Veas cuts analysis time by 90% with Intelecy

Veas, a major wastewater treatment plant serving the Oslo region, faced the challenge of turning vast amounts of process data into faster decisions and operational improvements for its goals in chemical use, energy consumption, and biogas production. They partnered with Intelecy to leverage its industrial AI platform and connect it to AI assistants via the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

The solution implemented by Intelecy allowed Veas to connect its process data to the AI assistant Claude through MCP. This enabled a conversational interface for investigating deviations, uncovering recommendations, and creating machine learning models. The results included a significant reduction in analysis time and, more importantly, made process insight more accessible across the organization, leading to improved decision support and a clear path toward concrete improvements in chemical use, energy, and biogas production.
