Wauna Credit Union, a member-owned nonprofit serving Oregon and Washington, wanted to move from an “order-taking” culture to a true sales and service mindset. The credit union was concerned staff saw selling as “product pushing,” and leaders wanted to deepen member relationships while increasing loan and deposit growth. To support that shift, Wauna partnered with Integrity Solutions and used The Member Advantage™ along with related coaching and behavioral training.
Integrity Solutions helped Wauna embed a value-driven sales and service culture through The Member Advantage™, Integrity Coaching®, and Behavior Styles® workshops, with training extended to all employees and managers. The results were significant: Wauna reported a 186% increase in deposit growth over two years, ROA rising from 0.76% in 2015 to 1.0% in Q1 2016, and performance that outpaced peers in both deposits and loan growth. The credit union also achieved the highest products and services per member in its peer group and improved its ability to serve member needs.
