Pioneer Federal Credit Union, a not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperative with 13 locations in southwest Idaho, wanted to improve sales without losing its “People Helping People” service culture. The credit union saw an opportunity to strengthen communication with members and coworkers, better understand member needs, and create a stronger workplace culture. To help address these goals, Pioneer Federal Credit Union partnered with Integrity Solutions and implemented The Member Advantage™.
Integrity Solutions delivered an 8-week structured program focused on consultative communication, member needs discovery, and Behavior Styles® concepts. The results included improved member experience, stronger coworker communication, increased employee engagement, and growth in both loans and memberships. Pioneer Federal Credit Union also climbed from 8th to 4th place on Idaho’s Best Places to Work list, and one example showed a loan processor using the approach to secure an auto loan, RV loan, Visa loan, and refinance two additional loans from another institution.
