Unyte Health helps a 7-year-old cut major behavior incidents to zero with Integrated Listening Systems

The customer, Unyte Health, worked with provider Sabrina Thakur to address the significant challenges faced by a 7-year-old client, Jenny, who struggled with severe emotional and behavioral dysregulation resulting from developmental trauma. The vendor, Integrated Listening Systems, provided the solution used, the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), to help increase the child's capacity for emotional regulation and improve her relationship with her adoptive parents.

The solution from Integrated Listening Systems involved a hybrid implementation of the SSP, where the child listened to the protocol's music daily while engaging in co-regulating art activities facilitated by her parents. This was supported by play therapy. The results included a noticeable decrease in dysregulation within the first week, zero major behavior incidents at school, and improved peer and sibling interactions. The client achieved a newfound state of calm, allowing her to process emotions and connect with others.
