Family Achievement Center, a therapy center, sought to help a three-year-old male client diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS) who was experiencing significant speech, language, motor, and auditory processing delays. Integrated Listening Systems' solution involved a 12-week program where the client listened to the multi-sensory therapy for 4.5 hours per week. The results were substantial and included successful potty training, a dramatic reduction in tantrums due to improved emotional regulation and expressive language, and vastly improved ability to handle transitions. Measurable impacts included the client meeting and exceeding his occupational therapy goals, leading to his discharge from OT just one month after completing the iLs program, and making significant gains in following directions and completing sentences in speech therapy.
