Taka Solutions cuts energy use 35.8% with Integrated Environmental Solutions

Taka Solutions, an energy efficiency company, faced the challenge of quantifying and verifying the effectiveness of Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs) for the O-14 Tower in Dubai as part of a Shared Savings Energy Performance Contract. To accurately forecast savings and reduce risk for their client, they utilized the IESVE software from Integrated Environmental Solutions to conduct detailed dynamic energy simulations.

Integrated Environmental Solutions' IESVE software enabled Taka Solutions to create a baseline energy model calibrated within 5% of historic utility bills. This allowed them to accurately simulate and predict the savings from implemented EEMs, including a new ventilation system. The project resulted in annual cost savings of AED 485,665, a 35.8% total annual reduction in energy costs, and a 36% reduction in the building's environmental footprint.
