The customer, Central Karakoram National Park (CKNP), faced the challenge of designing a new sustainable headquarters with poor initial energy performance, including high heating consumption and low indoor comfort levels. Integrated Environmental Solutions' IESVE software was used from the preliminary design stage to model and analyze the building's energy usage.

Integrated Environmental Solutions implemented a solution that included a passive double skin façade and correct building orientation. This led to a 52% decrease in primary energy heating consumption, from 88 to 42 kWh/m2y, and significantly improved thermal comfort.
