Integrated Environmental Solutions worked with Notions Group, a leading brand creator and exporter of snacks, to improve the energy efficiency of their La Ronda chocolate factory in Dubai. The customer had already implemented renewable energy solutions but sought to further reduce their carbon footprint and energy consumption through performance retrofits of their existing systems.

Using the IESVE Dynamic Simulation Energy Modelling software, Integrated Environmental Solutions identified and quantified a range of energy-saving retrofits for the factory's HVAC systems. The solution, which included upgrading fans, motors, and pumps, resulted in electrical savings of 50-80% on individual components and unlocked an additional 35-40% in overall energy savings. The IESVE model was also linked to the factory's energy management system for ongoing monitoring, helping Notions Group move closer to its goal of a zero carbon footprint factory.
