ML2S achieves BREEAM Excellent with Integrated Environmental Solutions at 79.20 kWh/m²

ML2S, an architectural company focused on sustainable solutions, faced the challenge of achieving a BREEAM Excellent rating for a new core and shell office building in Budapest, where future tenant fit-outs could not be directly controlled. They enlisted Integrated Environmental Solutions and its IES Virtual Environment (IESVE) to model the building's performance under this constraint.

Integrated Environmental Solutions used IESVE to conduct detailed energy, daylight, and thermal comfort simulations. This included modeling a legally binding green tenant agreement to predict real-world performance. The solution confirmed an energy end use of 79.20 kWh/m², securing a BREEAM Excellent rating, and demonstrated the building's resilience to future climate scenarios while maintaining occupant comfort.
