Irish Life, a leading Irish life, investment, and pensions company, sought to create a net-zero roadmap for its diverse property portfolio. The challenge was to extract value from existing, dormant compliance models to plan effective decarbonisation strategies. Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES) addressed this by applying its Sleeping Digital Twin process to reawaken these unused resources.

Integrated Environmental Solutions implemented its solution by transforming archived compliance models into four calibrated digital twins for different building types. The process involved onsite surveys, data integration, and monthly calibration with energy data to create accurate performance models. IES used these digital twins to test various renovation and decarbonisation scenarios, providing the client with a clear decarbonisation roadmap and interactive dashboards to track progress. This equipped Irish Life with lasting digital assets to confidently plan and implement large-scale interventions to achieve its net-zero ambitions.
