ibak Hamburg GmbH achieves DGNB Gold with 68.8% fulfilment using Integrated Environmental Solutions

The customer, ibak Hamburg GmbH, was appointed to achieve DGNB GOLD certification for the ROCKYWOOD commercial office project. Their challenge was to verify compliance with the German Sustainable Building Council's strict thermal and visual comfort criteria. To meet this challenge, they utilized the IES Virtual Environment (IESVE) from Integrated Environmental Solutions for dynamic simulation.

Using IESVE, ibak Hamburg GmbH performed integrated thermal and daylight analyses to demonstrate the building's comfort performance under extreme and future climate conditions. The solution included automating client reporting by integrating IESVE output with Tableau software. As a result, the ROCKYWOOD project successfully achieved DGNB GOLD certification with a 68.8% degree of fulfilment.
