GBCSA launches certification engine in 6 months with Integrated Environmental Solutions

The Green Building Council South Africa (GBCSA) faced a challenge in managing the growing volume of Green Star SA submissions with its existing systems, risking its ability to serve the industry. To improve submission quality and streamline the certification process, the GBCSA partnered with Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES) to develop a new online platform using the pioneering IES TaP system.

Integrated Environmental Solutions developed the GBCSA Certification Engine over a six-month period. This solution provided a central online platform for managing submissions, which streamlined the certification process for all stakeholders and allowed for simplified extraction of business intelligence. The system successfully went live in 2014, enabling the GBCSA to efficiently handle higher submission volumes.
