Fairmont the Palm Hotel achieves 0%-5% model variance with Integrated Environmental Solutions

The Fairmont the Palm Hotel in Dubai sought to accurately predict the cost savings from proposed energy conservation measures for a guaranteed savings contract. To meet this challenge, Griffin Consultants used the IES Virtual Environment (IESVE) software from Integrated Environmental Solutions to create a detailed energy model of the hotel.

Integrated Environmental Solutions' IESVE enabled Griffin Consultants to build a model that calibrated month by month with a 0% to 5% difference from the actual building's energy use. This highly accurate model was used to simulate the proposed energy conservation measures and predict the future savings. After implementation, the actual results confirmed the software's predictions, providing the confidence needed for the ESCO's guaranteed savings contract.
