Eindhoven University of Technology introduces IESVE to 70 students annually

Eindhoven University of Technology required a primary teaching tool for its Master of Science programs to help students understand building performance and energy simulation. The university chose the IES Virtual Environment (IESVE) from Integrated Environmental Solutions for its flexibility, ease of use, and modeling capabilities to meet this educational challenge.

Integrated Environmental Solutions provided a solution where students use IESVE for hands-on weekly simulation assignments, starting with basic validation tests and progressing to advanced topics like double-skin façades and net-zero energy building design. The results are that approximately 70 students annually are now effectively taught to use the software, equipping them with valuable engineering skills for designing a sustainable built environment.
