Case Study: EE plius achieves BREEAM-certified, A+ energy-efficient manufacturing building with Integrated Environmental Solutions (IESVE)

EE plius used Integrated Environmental Solutions’ IES Virtual Environment (IESVE) to support the design of the August&Ko Manufacturing building in Vilnius. The challenge was to deliver a highly energy-efficient industrial facility that could achieve BREEAM certification while optimizing lighting, heating, envelope performance, and airtightness.

Integrated Environmental Solutions helped EE plius run detailed energy, daylight, shading, and parametric analyses to refine the building envelope, HVAC sizing, and control strategies. The work contributed to the first BREEAM-certified manufacturing building in the Baltic states and the first manufacturing building in Lithuania to reach A+ energy efficiency, while reducing predicted heating demand from 26.48 kWh/m2 to 5.44 kWh/m2 with a heat pump.
