Their challenge was to optimize the building's energy efficiency to help it achieve a high LEED certification, originally targeting LEED Gold.

Integrated Environmental Solutions' IESVE provided the granular modeling capabilities needed to optimize lighting controls, accurately model Energy Star appliances, and design a custom HVAC system with energy recovery ventilation. This solution enabled the project to exceed its goal and achieve LEED Platinum certification. The modeling showed estimated energy cost savings of $16,500 per year, with significant savings coming from service water heating, fan energy, and space cooling.
