Central Karakoram National Park (CKNP) in Pakistan needed a sustainable new headquarters that could reduce energy use and improve winter comfort in a harsh mountain climate. Integrated Environmental Solutions supported the early-stage design analysis using IESVE software, including MacroFlo, ApacheSim, ApacheHVAC, and ApacheCalc, to assess energy performance from the outset.

Integrated Environmental Solutions helped E++ and ILA Studio develop low-cost design improvements such as better orientation, increased facade openings, and a passive double-skin facade. These changes cut predicted primary energy heating consumption by 52%, reducing it from 88 to 42 kWh/m²/year while also improving thermal comfort in both summer and winter.
