Ashley McGraw Architects designs a 4,000 sq ft LEED Platinum addition with Integrated Environmental Solutions

The architectural firm Ashley McGraw Architects utilized performance analysis software from Integrated Environmental Solutions to design a high-performance, 4,000-square-foot media center and library addition for the Syracuse Center of Excellence. Their challenge was to efficiently assess the building's energy use and receive immediate feedback throughout the design process for this pioneering green building project.

Integrated Environmental Solutions provided its VE software, including the MicroFlo and ApacheSim modules, which offered tight connectivity with SketchUp and Revit. This integration eased the overall workload during design. The solution successfully helped the SyracuseCoE building achieve a LEED Platinum rating and win a 2010 Leadership Award from the U.S. Green Building Council.
