Ashley McGraw Architects used Integrated Environmental Solutions’ IES Virtual Environment (IESVE) software to support the design of a 4,000 sq ft media center and library addition for the Syracuse Center of Excellence in Environmental and Energy Systems. The firm needed a way to assess performance early in the design process while managing a high-performance building project that required careful energy and environmental analysis.

Integrated Environmental Solutions provided IESVE, including MicroFlo for airflow CFD and ApacheSim for thermal simulation, with tight integration to SketchUp and Revit. The solution helped Ashley McGraw Architects evaluate energy use, daylighting, and airflow with immediate design feedback, streamlining their workflow and contributing to a LEED Platinum project that opened in March 2010 and won the 2010 Leadership Award.
