Alpin Limited saves 100,978,875.60 kWh with Integrated Environmental Solutions

Alpin Limited, an energy consultancy, utilized the IES Virtual Environment (IESVE) from Integrated Environmental Solutions to conduct construction-stage energy analysis for the New York University Abu Dhabi campus. Their challenge was to ensure the project was on track to meet its energy savings goals and comply with the local Estidama PBRS standard, while also aiming for a higher 2 Pearl rating.

Integrated Environmental Solutions provided the IESVE software, which Alpin used to model and verify building parameters and study the effectiveness of various energy conservation measures. The solution achieved significant results, with the project realizing energy savings of 25% above the ASHRAE 90.1 baseline and successfully attaining the desired 2 Pearl rating. Across approximately 30 projects, Alpin has used IESVE to save over 100 million kilowatt hours.
