AECOM achieves Green Mark Platinum SLE with Integrated Environmental Solutions and cuts annual energy use by 22,000 kWh

The customer, AECOM, faced the challenge of designing two complex projects in Singapore to meet stringent local building codes and achieve the highest sustainability certification, Singapore's Green Mark Platinum Super Low Energy. To accomplish this, they utilized the energy modeling software, IESVE, from the vendor Integrated Environmental Solutions.

Integrated Environmental Solutions' IESVE software, particularly its ApacheHVAC application, provided a comprehensive solution for simulating and optimizing the building designs. This enabled AECOM to implement innovative energy efficiency measures, including a Passive Displacement Cooling system that saved 22,000 kWh annually in one project. The solution ensured regulatory compliance and was instrumental in both projects successfully achieving the Green Mark Platinum SLE certification, contributing to significant cost savings and enhanced sustainability.
