Telstra, Australia’s largest mobile network operator with some 7,000 towers and roughly 1,000 staff and contractors involved in rollout and maintenance, faced a paper-based, email-driven project process that was slow, error-prone and unable to scale for a planned 4G program of about 6,000 new projects. The manual approval and documentation flows created delays, extra cost and limited real-time visibility, risking network performance and customer satisfaction.
Eirteic built Whisper, a web-based, Intalio|bpms-powered workflow replacing paper forms with centralized online forms, role-based access, active KPI alerts, dashboards and reusable workflow templates. Integrated with Telstra’s CANRAD database for real-time antenna tilt updates (previously delayed 1–2 months), Whisper eliminated duplication, sped approvals, reduced errors and costs, increased project throughput and gave managers live visibility into project status and quality.
