Scattergood & Johnson Ltd, a Leeds-based electrical engineering distributor established in 1899 with six UK branches and over 150 employees, needed to replace an in-house developed SOP and four separate business tools while preserving their high level of customer service. After cautious selection, they chose Intact Software and its Intact iQ platform to deliver a proven, flexible solution that could replicate their long-standing sales order process and support future customisation.

Intact Software implemented Intact iQ to recreate the bespoke SOP fully integrated with General Ledger, Stock and Purchasing, delivering live information across branches, field-level user access control and a fully integrated point-of-sale — replacing four legacy systems. Working with Intact Professional Services and Development, the rollout was seamless, giving Scattergood & Johnson measurable integration (GL/Stock/Purchasing), improved information control and distribution, and the operational flexibility to maintain their competitive service levels.
