Glencore, a global commodity trader and natural resources company, needed to upgrade its SAP FI landscape from S/4HANA 1610 to 1809 while proving that more than 300 inbound interface posting scenarios from 20+ worldwide source systems would behave exactly as before. The challenge was to build a complete regression test base and validate thousands of integration permutations in just four weeks, with minimal involvement from connected non-SAP systems.

To meet this need, Glencore selected INT4’s Int4 IFTT for codeless integration test automation, virtualization, and result reporting. INT4 helped create and execute over 4,500 test cases, compare productive reference documents at field level, and streamline defect handling in HP ALM; the project identified around 10 version-related posting differences, registered 100+ defects, and achieved zero integration production issues after go-live.
