Tsunami Development, a geoscience company focused on seismic migration and imaging software, wanted a single, easy-to-use way to build and update the velocity models required for its workflows. To avoid moving data between multiple software packages and to reduce the development effort needed to support extensive visualization and data I/O, Tsunami Development used INT Software’s INTViewer and its Java-based plugin API.

Using INTViewer’s standards-based plugin framework, INT Software enabled Tsunami Development to build custom model-building tools while INTViewer handled the visualization and core platform functions. Tsunami Development shipped twenty INTViewer plugins in its latest release, allowing users to create, modify, and QC time, depth, VTI, TTI, and well-tied migration models in one integrated tool, helping streamline workflows and support more accurate seismic imaging.
