Rock Physics Technology AS (RPT), a Norway-based digital oilfield service company, wanted to commercialize its inverse rock physics modeling technology as a software product for the global oil and gas industry. The challenge was to bring it to market quickly without building a new interpretation and visualization platform from scratch or partnering with a potential competitor, so RPT looked for an existing framework that could support seismic and well log workflows.

RPT chose INT Software’s INTViewer platform to power ENTER™, its quantitative interpretation and analysis package. INT Software provided a flexible, scalable framework with customizable workflows and UX, allowing ENTER to integrate RPT’s rock physics library and make rock physics-driven inversion accessible to geoscientists, petrophysicists, and sedimentologists. The result was a single easy-to-use interface for loading, displaying, and interacting with seismic and well log data, creating a strong user experience and enabling broader use of the technology, though no specific quantitative metrics were given.
