Geo-Logic Systems chose INT to help build LithoTect, a next-generation geological analysis application for petroleum reservoir interpretation. The company needed a complete set of dip-constrained and general map, profile, well, and seismic interpretation tools, while freeing its team to focus on developing new “geometry fields” algorithms and a highly usable workflow.

INT provided J/GeoToolkit components in Java to power the application’s graphics, drawing, seismic, and well log functions, enabling rapid integration and platform independence. With INT’s software, Geo-Logic Systems brought LithoTect to market quickly, created a sophisticated and easy-to-use product that runs on laptops and workstations, and delivered state-of-the-art capabilities such as depth conversion, well monitoring, data projection, and structural restoration/forward modeling.
