This provided engineers with unprecedented visibility and enabled them to find issues faster, set up automated tests, and streamline communication. The solution resulted in Motorola accelerating product maturity, significantly reducing the number of unplanned experimental builds and factory trips, and achieving substantial cost savings. Programs using Instrumental also ramped to production faster than those that did not.
