Rockingham County Public Schools earns TLE Seal in nearly 2 years with Instructure

Rockingham County Public Schools, a rural Virginia school district, faced the challenge of managing and securing increasing amounts of student data as it adopted more digital tools. The district needed to investigate what data was being shared and how edtech providers handled it, particularly in pursuit of the prestigious Trusted Learning Environment (TLE) Seal. The platform ensured each digital tool was compliant with applicable data privacy laws and gave teachers a clear process for requesting and using approved resources. As a result of implementing LearnPlatform, Rockingham County Public Schools successfully achieved the TLE Seal in June 2021, demonstrating its commitment to strong, measurable student data privacy practices.
