Pasco County Schools, Florida’s eleventh largest district with 84 schools and more than 68,000 students, faced a fragmented LMS landscape as it expanded its state‑mandated K–12 virtual program (Pasco eSchool) and district blended learning. After piloting Moodle and juggling multiple proprietary systems, the district selected Instructure’s Canvas and purchased Premium Canvas Training and Support to provide a unified, customizable, and user‑friendly platform for both virtual and in‑school programs.

Instructure delivered Canvas along with onsite Premium Training and 24/7 Premium Support (for three system admins), enabling Pasco County Schools to migrate 21 eSchool courses and rapidly scale adoption. Within nine months, 8,900 (97%) of ~9,200 teachers and staff completed Canvas professional development, 25 Trailblazer teachers received in‑person training (150 more trained virtually), and a Canvas Learning Center was created—demonstrating strong, measurable districtwide adoption and impact.
