US Consumer Electronics Company builds audio engineering desktop app 60% with Instil

Instil was approached by a well-known US consumer electronics company to develop a new desktop application for one of their clients. The challenge was to replace a 15-year-old, clunky tool used by audio engineers to visualize speaker positioning in virtual venues, which could no longer integrate new algorithms required for modern speakers.

Instil built a new cross-platform application using React, TypeScript, and Electron, which allowed for a modern 3D visualization and a greatly improved user experience. Although the original project was cancelled due to Covid-19's impact on the audio industry, the solution so impressed the client that Instil subsequently became their main partner for front-end software engineering and UI/UX, exceeding all expectations.
