La Bonne Cuisine, a catering company founded in 1995, hosts more than 850 events each year and regularly relies on a standby crew for most jobs. But for major events of 1,000+ guests, they needed a fast way to staff dozens of extra hospitality workers, which became especially challenging for a 2,500-guest corporate event at The Armory in San Francisco.

Instawork helped by providing 40 cooks and 30 servers through its Gigs platform, giving La Bonne Cuisine access to experienced hospitality workers that could be vetted quickly. Instawork also assisted with on-site check-in, helping streamline registration and reduce event-day stress, with the customer specifically noting that Instawork was “taking the stress out” of staffing large events.
