Pixlee, a San Francisco–based SaaS provider of Personalized Visual Marketing used by brands like Ghirardelli and Converse, needed faster, more consistent delivery of user-generated photos and videos—especially on mobile and for international audiences. While using Amazon CloudFront, Pixlee saw slowdowns outside the U.S. and mobile “last mile” bottlenecks that degraded perceived user experience, scalability, and required smarter image handling and simpler cache management.
Pixlee trialed and migrated traffic to Instart Logic’s SDAD platform, using HTML and progressive image streaming. The switch produced immediate gains: images appear instantly (not top-down), mobile and global load times improved, and response times dropped from 250 ms to 50 ms. The result was seamless global scaling, reduced infrastructure pressure, automated near-instant cache flushing, and noticeably faster, more reliable photo delivery for Pixlee’s customers.
