Bonfaire is a San Francisco–based luxury online retailer that wanted a magazine-like shopping experience with 3–5× larger, high-resolution “hero” images and multiple large photos per product page. This design created very large pages and slow load times—especially for mobile and Wi‑Fi users—and Bonfaire needed fast interaction, support for traffic spikes from frequent collection launches, and a way to avoid costly server scaling after finding Amazon CloudFront insufficient.

Bonfaire switched to Instart Logic by changing only DNS settings; the service streams prioritized asset bytes without code or infrastructure changes. In tests it outperformed CloudFront, delivering pages about 2× faster, increasing user engagement and conversions, and handling traffic peaks reliably across Instart’s global network so Bonfaire could maintain a small core infrastructure footprint.
