Calgary International Airport, operated by the Calgary Airport Authority, required a world-class communications solution to support its mission of providing an unparalleled, safe, and efficient customer experience. Instant Connect implemented its Enterprise platform, providing a centralized command-and-control system that integrated radios, mobile devices, and dispatch. This solution significantly reduced communications gaps, improved the speed of customer service and emergency response, and enhanced interoperability with first responders. The Instant Connect platform is used daily by over 50 personnel and services more than 1,000 radio subscribers, providing the airport with highly reliable, easy-to-use, and mission-critical infrastructure that is vital to its operations.
