Lund Municipality - Customer Case Study

Lund Municipality, a progressive public education authority in southern Sweden, needed a digital exam solution for its primary, secondary, upper secondary, and adult education institutions. The municipality’s goals were to improve exam security, reduce cheating, expand question types, support all student profiles, keep maintenance low for the ICT team, and integrate with other systems such as single sign-on.

Inspera implemented Inspera Assessment, rolling it out first for Sweden’s national tests in Swedish, English, and Mathematics and then across the broader education system. The solution is now used by Year 10 through adult education students, with Year 6–9 students also having taken tests, across school devices and BYOD; it improved continuity in assessment, added accessibility tools, and reduced the workload of staff by making exam delivery easier to manage.
