Case Study: BPP University advances digital examinations with Inspera Assessment

BPP University is working towards a 100% adoption of digital exams

BPP University, a private UK university with four schools and around 17,000 students, wanted to move away from pen-and-paper exams and better reflect real-world professional practice in its assessments. Working with Inspera, it began exploring digital examinations as part of its learning and teaching strategy, with particular needs across law, business, technology, nursing, and health, including a mix of on-site, home, BYOD, auto-marked, and manually marked exams.

Inspera Assessment was implemented as BPP University’s end-to-end e-assessment platform, starting with a pilot in 2017 and expanding to around 150 exams in 2018 across multiple schools, locations, and delivery modes. The solution now supports formative and summative assessment, SSO integration, and moderated marking, helping BPP University progress toward 100% digital exams and making Inspera a single source of truth for exam delivery and marking.
