Cactus launched an online trading platform for commercial combined and contract works insurance covers

Cactus, an innovative insurance wholesaler founded in 2012, needed a flexible, cloud-capable platform to launch an online trading site in New Zealand for commercial combined and contract works covers and to offer web sales and broker access. After a global search, Cactus chose Insly for its insurance software ability to support automation, web sales, broker portals and integrations with insurer rating engines.

Insly customised its platform to deliver a full end-to-end cloud system—simple quote forms with lookup services, an automated rating and referral engine, e-sales with e-offers and web declaration signing, document management, three payment options (including Xero sync), and API integration with insurer Ando. The implementation enabled Cactus to launch its trading platform and offer commercial combined, contract works and a new lighter domestic combined product that simplifies onboarding and expands web and broker-led sales—capabilities delivered through Insly’s agile, remote development process.
