Workwear Group ensures timely delivery of front-line workers uniforms with collaborative Sales Forecasting directly in Microsoft’s Power BI platform

Workwear Group, a manufacturer of specialized uniforms for frontline workers, needed a better way to support mission-critical sales forecasting and reporting. Its legacy BI environment was manual, resource-heavy, prone to data loss and refresh issues, and created multiple sources of truth that slowed decisions across sales, merchandise planning, supply chain, and finance. To modernize, Workwear Group moved to Microsoft Power BI and added insightsoftware’s Power ON to close the write-back and forecasting gap.

With insightsoftware’s Power ON Visual Planner in Power BI, Workwear Group enabled collaborative sales forecasting, real-time write-back to Azure SQL, and commentary at individual data points so managers could review and approve forecasts faster. The results included reducing data restore and debugging time from 3–4 days to just hours, saving sales teams up to a week or more per month, and eliminating confusion around which forecast dataset to trust. Insightsoftware helped create a single version of the truth, faster forecasts, better drill-down into transaction detail, and more timely customer orders.
