Swedish Bakery Improves Budgeting and Forecasting by Integrating a New Tool with an Existing Qlik Solution

Almondy, a leading Swedish cake manufacturer, needed to modernize its budgeting and forecasting after relying on a manually maintained in‑house database and mapped tables that gave poor transparency and limited control. With help from implementation partner Optivasys, Almondy chose insightsoftware’s Bizview to add a structured forecasting and budgeting tool integrated into their existing QlikView environment.

insightsoftware implemented Bizview fully integrated with QlikView, enabling one‑click updates from a validated data source and Excel‑like planning forms. As a result, forecasting is faster and easier, collaboration has improved, data security and auditability are stronger (clear visibility into who made each change), and Almondy plans to expand Bizview usage into sales budgeting.
