Sisense uses Magnitude Simba to enable business users to extract insights from complex data sets

Sisense, the business analytics platform from New York City, needed a better way to connect non-technical users to complex, fast-changing data spread across many disparate sources. To keep its engineering team focused on the core product, Sisense turned to insightsoftware’s Simba suite of ODBC connectors and the Simba SDK to simplify connectivity for business users working with large, varied data sets.

Using insightsoftware’s Simba technology, Sisense quickly built a custom ODBC driver and connected its BI tool to popular big data sources such as MongoDB and Google BigQuery. The result was a seamless analytics experience that let users join multiple large data sets, build dashboards, and analyze billions of rows with high speed and smooth performance—all without scripting or writing code.
